XIII CONFERENCE ON TEACHING IN ECONOMICS

What began as a meeting of professors from areas of work closer to the core of economic analysis has evolved over time, adding the different areas of the studies of Economics and related disciplines. The aim of the Conference is to contribute to the debate of innovative teaching experiences in Economics and related subjects. We encourage proposals with real application in classrooms, promoting the active participation of teachers and students. Among the proposals that will be welcomed, we can quote the (non-exhaustive) following examples:

  • Innovative experiences supported by institutional agreements (Universities, governments…).
  • Teachers’ groups experiences on working teams, innovative and active methodologies, research on teaching Economics, experiences on management or coordination of degrees and subjects, research projects on education, learning assessment…
  • Proposals encouraging students self-learning (active and cooperative methodologies…)
  • Internationalization strategies.
  • Tools used for on-line teaching.

The proposals should be innovative and should be of practical application.

In this XIII edition, for the first time, the Faculty of the University of Alicante (Spain) is promoting an International Session on Teaching on Economics.
